I don’t know about you, but I really don’t like going to the dentist. It’s not even like I’ve ever had dental problems. I just don’t like going. And I’m sure I’m not alone. I would guess that most people don’t like going to the dentist.
Well…River Run Dental is trying to change that. Their mission is to change our whole perception of visiting the dentist. When I heard people talking about River Run using the words “serene” and “blissful”, I wasn’t convinced. So I decided to see for myself.
A few weeks ago I went for my first visit and within minutes, I was sold. The place is gorgeous. The people are friendly and professional. And it’s quick. They took me on time and all of my paperwork was done electronically.
I was given the Comfort Menu and they asked what I wanted.
Ummm…I’ll take one of each.
Is this place for real?! As I sat in my massage chair curled up in a blanket, with my eye mask on, they did their thing. It was thorough and efficient. And the environment was far different than any other dentist I’ve seen.
For the 5th year in a row, Dr. Brent Rusnak was named one of RVA’s Top Dentists and I can see why. He was great. Friendly, professional and efficient.
I was excited to learn that they also partner with others in the community, such as Dentistry from the Heart, hosting a day of free dental care for the Richmond community and have contributed to Celebrate RVA and the Ronald McDonald House, among others.
As I left I grabbed a cup of coffee and a snack and was on my way. All in all, it was an excellent experience. So great, that I’ll be visiting again for my next cleaning. Plus I sent my neighbors because the referral program is amazing. If you go, tell them I sent you!
October is National Dental Hygiene Month (who knew?!) and they’ve got some great tips on their blog. RVA Living is excited to partner with River Run for a fun giveaway at the end of the month…because you know with all of that Halloween candy, we’re all going to need some good dental hygiene. Check back for details on our giveaway later in October.
