It started as a hobby that became a passion that grew into an incredible wedding design and floral business! Let me first say that I am so proud of my ‘little sister’, Amanda Day Rose, who has turned her incredible love of nature and creativity into a successful business. She absolutely loves what she does and it shows in everything she designs and creates.
Amanda’s dream began as a small stationery business after she graduated from James Madison University. She designed all types of cards and stationery before specializing in wedding invitations and stationery. (She designed her own wedding stationery, and designed and created the florals for her own wedding!). Over the years, she found that her intense love for nature and florals fit well with her business – and that’s when she decided to expand her offerings.
Before she knew it, she was in-demand as a wedding designer specializing in unique florals. She takes pride in the many details of her work. As Amanda explains, “From your florals to your stationery all the way down to the overall style of your wedding day, I want every detail to be meaningful and personal to you. I work with clients to create a beautiful, heartfelt celebration that they can cherish for the rest of their lives!”
I just love the details in this styling and florals at Tuckahoe Plantation.
And this bridal bouquet is so sweet!
The details in her work are so unique and meaningful. And I’m in love with this lavender thistle accenting these florals.
These florals at a Dover Hall wedding in Goochland are absolutely stunning! The foyer table filled with tiny bud vases and place cards was so unusual and eye-catching.
I never knew there was so much to learn about styling – and Amanda certainly has the perfect flair!
The elegance of gold and white make this custom designed stationery and matching florals the stars – after the bride of course!
Not only does Amanda find time for wedding design and florals, she even conducts private workshops and floral design events.
And did I mention Amanda is a talented artist as well? Whether it’s sketching venues and florals, or creating a custom designed logo for a couple, she ensures every detail is captured.
If you’re looking for a wedding designer, floral designer, stationery designer, or just want to learn more about floral arranging – then be sure and check out Amanda’s website and give her a call. I may be a little biased since she’s my sister but I believe she’s the best artist in the field – and I think you’ll agree once you see her creative work!
